Secretary Clintons Visit to Brazil

As we are sure you all saw in the news, last week we had an exciting visit from  Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, who stopped in Brasilia and Sao Paulo.  Her visit highlights the importance and stength  of the relationship between our countries.

While in Brasilia, she met with Congressional leaders,  Minister of Foreign Affairs Celso Amorim,  and President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.  In Sao Paulo, she conducted a town hall meeting with students and others at Zumbi dos Palmares University.  We are attaching transcripts of a press conference she gave with Minister Amorim in Brasilia, a Joint Communique issued after the meeting between Secretary Clinton and Minister Amorim, as well as the transcript of the town hall event at Zumbi dos Palmares.
